Where to start...
Well, as an online marketer I have been attempting to make money online in various different ways and platforms, from eBay, Amazon, , Clickbank, WooCommerce, Shopify, and even in my own standalone online stores since around 2000.
None of which I have had much success with. I signed up for several expensive training courses with successful internet market guru's such as the likes of Andrew Reynolds and others, and whilst I now own PLR & MMR rights to resell a lot of products, back then you had to do marketing via the old fashioned post, and email marketing.
All of which at the time I found quite exhaustive to do. So I looked for other ways to earn good money...
I held office job positions in the IT industry for several years up to 2011, where I moved into IT contracting. The money was good and I started gaining independence and more time to pursue other things...
After getting to know a local rock band I got back into playing music and forming my own originals punk rock band (I had learnt how to play guitar since I was 17).
The only problem with this band? the drummer is from Macedonia and he had not brought his kit over to the UK with him. To resolve this I purchased a very cheap kit we could use, together with a PA system, mics, mixer, and cables. As I had the equipment I decided to become a qualified Sound Production Engineer and learned that you can make money doing this by helping others who need guitars recorded for their songs, or drums, or bass, or everything mixed down and mastered.
To this day I still do this as part time side project. I have a much bigger studio, more guitars and basses, and several drum kits than when I first started, with thousands of pounds worth of gear, but even with doing this I only earn a ceiling amount of up to $35,000 a year.
Still not the wild money or being able to go full time with this that I am looking for...
Since the COVID-19 pandemic our working world has turned upside down. Jobs and businesses being lost and shut down in all industries in every sector. Our way of working has completely changed.
Out of luck, at the beginning of 2020 (or maybe because I still have contacts in the marketing industry), I was invited to join an Affiliate Marketing training course by Jono Armstrong, called Ministry of Freedom.
The course teaches everything you need in exact step by step detail of how to make money online using Affiliate marketing techniques, but with a difference. It was another expensive course but this time I could invest in it and do it.
As it was a simple method I finally felt I have a way forward with making money online. I am just starting out on this journey and started making a few hundred dollars each day, but that is more than I ever have made through an online business, to the point where I can finally also get my music recording business progressed with higher earnings.
